Luis Urias supplied the swing that started it. He went 1-for-2 with a home run, an RBI and two walks, tying the game with a solo shot to center that traveled 416 feet. The blast erased Washington's early lead and flipped the momentum in Toronto's favor for good.
Moments after Urias' homer tied it at 1-1, Ernie Clement doubled to left to bring home Straw and put the Blue Jays ahead 2-1, the go-ahead play of the game. Toronto tacked on an insurance run in the fourth when Myles Straw singled to center to score Kazuma Okamoto, extending the margin to 3-1.
