Arizona starter Jose Cabrera lasted just 4.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. He fell to 0-2 with a 5.60 ERA. The Diamondbacks managed 10 hits but could not convert them into runs against King. Tommy Troy's two-run homer to left center in the seventh provided a measure of consolation, and Max Kepler's RBI double in the eighth made it 10-4, but the deficit was long past manageable by then.
