Michael McGreevy earned the victory with six shutout innings, allowing three hits while walking three and striking out three. The right-hander improved to 2-2 with a 2.52 ERA, limiting the Dodgers to just three baserunners through the first six frames.
St. Louis struck for all three runs in the third inning. Burleson doubled to right to score Herrera, then Walker followed with a two-run homer to left that traveled 372 feet and brought Burleson home. Walker finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, extending his strong season that includes 10 home runs and 27 RBIs while batting .315.
Roki Sasaki took the loss for Los Angeles, allowing three runs on five hits over six innings with four strikeouts and two walks. His record fell to 1-3 with a 5.97 ERA. The Dodgers managed only three hits against McGreevy before breaking through against Riley O'Brien in the ninth, when Muncy singled home Tucker and Pages followed with an RBI single to score T. Hernández.
The victory extended St. Louis' winning streak to four games and improved their record to 18-13. Los Angeles fell to 20-11 despite leading the division, dropping their second straight game.
