Down four runs after three and a half innings, the Blue Jays exploded. Five runs in the fourth inning turned a 4-0 deficit into a 5-4 lead, and Toronto never looked back in a 10-4 victory over Minnesota at Rogers Centre.

The fourth inning belonged to Toronto's offense. Sánchez doubled to center, scoring Guerrero Jr. Schneider followed with an RBI double to right. Giménez singled home Schneider to make it 3-4. Then Valenzuela delivered the decisive blow, homering to right to give the Blue Jays their first lead at 5-4.

Minnesota had jumped ahead early behind Ryan Jeffers' three-run homer in the first inning, a 419-foot blast to left center that scored Martin and Keaschall. Brooks Lee added a solo shot in the fourth to extend the lead to 4-0, but that would be all the Twins could muster.

Simeon Woods Richardson took the loss for Minnesota, allowing five runs on six hits over four innings. The Blue Jays continued to add on after taking the lead, with Varsho homering in the fifth and additional runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings. Joe Mantiply earned the win with a perfect inning of relief, striking out three.

The victory extended Toronto's winning streak to two games and improved their record to 6-7. Varsho reached 100 career home runs in this game, while George Springer sits five home runs away from 300 for his career. Minnesota fell to 7-7 after the loss.
