Zack Wheeler pitched well enough to win most nights. This was not most nights. One swing from Max Muncy in the fourth inning turned a taut, low-scoring game into a 2-1 Los Angeles Dodgers victory over the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.

Wheeler was sharp across seven innings, striking out nine and walking none while allowing five hits. But the lone mistake proved costly. Muncy went 1-for-4 with a home run and both Dodgers RBIs, finishing the night with 19 home runs and 45 RBIs on the season.
Philadelphia struck first in the bottom of the first when Bohm singled to left, driving in Harper to make it 1-0. That lead held until the fourth, when Muncy homered to center field, a 421-foot shot that also brought home Pages, giving Los Angeles a 2-1 lead it would not relinquish.
Justin Wrobleski held the Phillies to one run over 6.1 innings, striking out seven and walking one to earn the win, improving to 11-2 on the season with a 2.62 ERA. Tanner Scott closed it out with 1.2 scoreless innings for his 15th save. Bohm finished 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Philadelphia, and Harper added a double of his own, but the Phillies could not push another run across after the first inning.
The loss dropped Philadelphia to 56-46, snapping any momentum after a one-game skid. Los Angeles improved to 64-38 and sits atop its division, while the Phillies rank second in theirs.
