The Phillies outslugged the Dodgers 10-7, riding a four-run second inning and a four-run sixth before hanging on as Los Angeles pushed three runs across in the ninth. It was enough offense to withstand the late scare, and enough power from one bat to define the night.

Trea Turner carried the load, going 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and five RBIs. His two-run shot to left in the second inning, a 404-foot drive, put the Phillies up 0-4 early, and his three-run blast to left in the sixth, traveling 346 feet and scoring Stott and Hill, extended the lead to 3-8. Turner's night also included milestone-clinching numbers: he reached 200 career home runs and 300 career doubles in this game.
Philadelphia's four-run second began with Rincones Jr. doubling to right to score Stott, a play that gave the Phillies the lead for good at 0-1. Crawford followed with a sacrifice fly to bring in Realmuto, and Turner's homer capped the inning. The Phillies added more in the sixth as Marsh homered to left center, and then Turner's homer blew the game further open. Harper and Hill also went deep in the seventh and eighth innings, respectively, padding the margin.
Los Angeles never stopped answering. Mookie Betts finished 4-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs, including a 421-foot shot in the ninth that plated Alfonzo and pulled the Dodgers to 7-10. Emmet Sheehan took the loss for the Dodgers, allowing 6 runs (6 earned) over 5.1 innings with 8 hits, a walk and 6 strikeouts, falling to 4-7 with a 5.13 ERA. The Dodgers' bullpen covered 2.2 innings and allowed 4 runs, unable to slow the Phillies' offense.
Cristopher Sanchez picked up the win for Philadelphia, allowing 3 runs (3 earned) over 5.1 innings with 7 hits, no walks and 7 strikeouts, improving to 12-4 with a 2.71 ERA. The Phillies' bullpen, using five relievers across 3.2 innings, gave up 4 runs and needed every bit of the early cushion as the Dodgers rallied in the sixth, seventh and ninth. Philadelphia improved to 56-45 and extended its win streak, while Los Angeles fell to 63-38 with its second straight loss.
