Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Jordan Lawlar was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist fracture.

Lawlar is expected to miss six to eight weeks. The injury occurred when he was hit by a pitch on his right wrist in the seventh inning on April 2, 2026. He stayed in the game to run the bases but was replaced defensively in the eighth inning. He had hit his first major league home run earlier in that same game.

The outfielder posted a .333/.400/.556 batting line through the early portion of the 2026 season. He finished the 2025 season with a .165/.241/.237 line in 108 big league appearances. Arizona moved him from infield to outfield for the 2026 season due to concerns about his defensive play.

Catcher Adrian Del Castillo was reinstated from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. The Diamondbacks also selected the contract of right-hander Taylor Rashi and designated Joe Ross for assignment.
