Mookie Betts Placed on 10-Day Injured List with Oblique Strain

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed Mookie Betts on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain.

Hyeseong Kim was recalled from the minors in a corresponding move. Kim was optioned to the minors for the start of the 2026 season but has hit .346/.438/.385 in six games at Triple-A.

Betts posted a .258 average with 20 home runs and 82 RBI in 150 games during the 2025 season. He appeared in 116 games during the 2024 season, recording 130 hits with 19 home runs and 75 RBI.

Miguel Rojas is expected to fill in at shortstop for Betts during his absence. Kim hit a 95 wRC+ in 71 games for Los Angeles during the 2025 season.
