Manager Craig Albernaz confirmed the Orioles anticipate placing Eflin on the 15-day injured list. Eflin had pitched well before the injury, striking out seven while allowing one run across 3 2/3 frames in his season debut on March 31, 2026.
The right-hander signed a one-year, $10 million free agent deal with Baltimore midway through his rehabilitation from back surgery. Eflin had three trips to the injured list in the 2025 season, limiting him to 14 starts before a lumbar microdiscectomy ended his campaign.
