The Brewers put this one away early and just kept piling on. Milwaukee scored three in the first, added five more in the sixth and cruised to an 11-2 win over the Colorado Rockies at American Family Field.

Jacob Misiorowski was the story on the mound before the offense ran away with it. Over 5.0 innings, he allowed just 1 run on 1 hit while striking out 12 without issuing a walk, improving to 11-4 with a 1.58 ERA. It was a dominant final line for a start that set the tone from the opening frame.
Milwaukee's first-inning damage came without a hit driving in the opening run: Turang reached on a bunt single to the pitcher, and Chourio scored when Freeland's throw got away for an error, giving the Brewers a lead they never lost. Turang then came around on a Freeland wild pitch, and Bauers grounded out to first to bring home Contreras, staking Misiorowski to a 3-0 cushion before he threw a pitch. The Brewers broke it open in the sixth. Vaughn homered to center to make it 4-1, Lara doubled home Bauers, and Pratt's double plated both Lara and Sánchez to push the score to 7-1. Chourio added another run on a groundout that inning as Milwaukee tacked on five runs in the frame. The Brewers kept the pressure on in the seventh with doubles from Sánchez and Lara each driving in a run, and Vaughn's sacrifice fly in the eighth brought home Chourio for the final margin.
Kyle Freeland took the loss for Colorado, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings, falling to 2-10 with a 7.34 ERA. The Rockies bullpen fared worse, with three relievers combining for 2.2 innings and 6 runs allowed. Colorado's offense managed only solo homers from Cole Carrigg and Willi Castro to account for both of its runs.
Vaughn finished 1-for-4 with a homer and 2 RBIs, while Lara and Pratt each drove in 2 runs on 2-for-4 nights. The win pushed Milwaukee, first in its division, to 66-39 and extended its winning streak to two games. Colorado dropped to 42-65, losing its second straight.
