Chase Burns controlled the game from the mound, and Cincinnati snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park on Monday night.

Burns (6-1) struck out nine batters over six innings, allowing three hits and one run while throwing 86 pitches. The right-hander carried a 1.83 ERA into his sixth win of the season.

The Reds answered Turner's third-inning homer with two sacrifice flies in the fourth. Myers brought home De La Cruz with a sacrifice fly to right, then Bleday scored Steer with a sacrifice fly to center for a 2-1 lead. Cincinnati added two more runs in the seventh when Blake Dunn scored on Matt McLain's fielder's choice, followed by Stephenson crossing the plate on De La Cruz's walk.

Jesus Luzardo (3-4) took the loss for Philadelphia, allowing two runs on five hits over six innings with five strikeouts. Turner went 1-for-4 with his fifth home run of the season, while Harper was held hitless in four at-bats with two strikeouts.

Cincinnati improved to 24-24 and ended its losing streak. Philadelphia fell to 25-23, snapping a five-game winning streak.
