Max Muncy followed immediately with a solo shot to right field, extending the lead to 4-0 before the inning ended. Muncy finished 2-for-3 with a walk and has two home runs and seven RBIs this season. Teoscar Hernandez added a two-run homer in the sixth inning, scoring Muncy to cap the scoring. Hernandez went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Jack Kochanowicz absorbed the loss for Los Angeles, allowing six runs on seven hits over six innings with four strikeouts and two walks. His ERA stands at 4.56. The Angels managed just two hits and never threatened against Dodgers pitching.
Los Angeles extended its winning streak to two games and improved to 26-18. The Angels dropped their third straight and fell to 16-28.
