The game belonged to Minnesota until the final three innings. Cincinnati erased a two-run deficit with a methodical comeback, capped by Dane Myers' game-winning single in the ninth inning that lifted the Reds to a 5-4 victory at Target Field.
Taj Bradley dominated through six innings for Minnesota, allowing just five hits and two runs while striking out five. The right-hander carried a 1.63 ERA and looked in complete control before turning the game over to his bullpen with a 4-2 lead.
The Twins built their advantage early when Ryan Jeffers tripled to center in the first inning, scoring both Austin Martin and Josh Bell. Luke Keaschall added another run in the third with an RBI single, and Brooks Lee's fifth-inning single brought Bell home for what appeared to be a comfortable 4-2 cushion.
Cincinnati chipped away methodically. Elly De La Cruz singled home Rece Hinds in the seventh to cut the deficit to one. In the eighth, Hinds sacrificed into a double play that allowed Eugenio Suarez to score the tying run. Myers delivered the decisive blow in the ninth, singling to center to score Spencer Steer and complete the comeback.
The loss dropped Minnesota to 11-9 and extended their losing streak to two games. Cincinnati improved to 12-8 and snapped a losing streak with the victory.
