Gabriel Arias will miss 4-8 weeks with a moderate left hamstring strain suffered while running out a double during Monday's loss to the Royals.
The Cleveland Guardians shortstop had started 10 of the team's first 11 games at shortstop in the 2026 season. Arias was batting .200 with 12 strikeouts in 32 plate appearances and connected on a couple home runs before the injury.
